For Love of Orange Blog: Great fall day!!

What a great day we had today! We spent our entire day, outside! We started with a trip to the new park off Cason Ln in Murfreesboro, over by the Greenway. That, of course, also included a trip to McD's for some lunch, which we took to the park for a picnic. K.K. and Max joined us for our first outing. Thanks for the suggestion K.K. When we left the park, I was on the hunt for some leaves for a craft I want to make with Aiden & Abby. We took a walk down the Greenway, but found no fall colored leaves, just brown and a couple green. So we drove and drove and ended up on the Natchez Trace in Franklin. Aiden absolutely loved the HUGE bridge. They rolled and played in all the leaves, walked on the walls and Aiden found these HUGE leaves (see pictures below). We left there, with some orange/red leaves in hand, and headed back towards home. But first we had to stop at Pinkerton Park for some good ole swing time. Who doesn't love to swing? Not me I tell ya. I feel like a kid every time I get on a swing. And it's one of their favorite things to do. So we spent about 45mins there before finally heading back to Murfreesboro. What a perfect day! Thank you Lord for the beautiful day and the absolute innocence of my children's laughter.
