White Christmas Morning....

We got the White Christmas we had all been hoping for. Well, at least most of us wanted a white Christmas! This year was so much fun! Aiden really got into it this year! He came running into my bedroom Christmas morning excited that Santa had been and left him toys! Abby was still asleep, we had to wake her up. But next year, she'll be just as excited.
We didn't go over board this year, at all. After all, it's not about the presents, it's about the Baby born in the Manger. And that's exactly what we are trying to teach our children. Each year, since my son's first Christmas, I make a birthday cake for Jesus and we sing happy birthday to him.

Due to the fact that I want their sweet expressions on film, I failed to get any "still" photos of them Christmas morning. :( But I've got one heck of a video! These pictures were taken Christmas Eve night right before I went to bed.

After all the presents were opened, Meredith made us a quick b'fast and then we headed to my in-law's for Christmas with them. This year was extra special, because my brother-in-law, who's in the Army, was home for Christmas. This is the first Christmas in 4 years! We were super excited!

Again, so caught up in the momemt...failed to take any pictures. Ugh this is getting a wee bit rediculous!

I failed to take pictures Christmas MORNING, so I took these on our way out, for the second time, to the extended Flautt family. It had snowed on and off all day. It was beautiful. But it did make our trip to Brentwood a wee bit slow.
