Flood May 2010

Nashville and surrounding counties were hit with devastation on May 1st with flooding that reached levels not seen since (I believe) the late 50's. It was horrible. The Grand Ole Opry was under 4' of water. Downtown Nashville flooded upwards of Second Ave. They TV said the Cumberland River had never reached such depths.
My parents live down the road from the Little Harpeth River. It floods sometimes, but never like we saw it on this day.
Here are a few pictures I took, several days after the fact.
South Carothers Rd @ Arno Rd
this house sits next to the river on Carothers Rd, facing Arno Rd. it usually floods, but this was bad!
this is McDaniel Rd just before the bridge at the river
this is the house on the corner of Arno & Trinity
