This Easter, like every other Easter, is about Jesus! About His Resurrection. We are so blessed to have been saved by him.
The Easter bunny came to visit…at 3:30a. I had to make a last minute run to Kohl's last night (8p) to get Aiden a shirt for today. Figured I’d get Abby a cute dress as well. I had already bought her one, but it wasn’t really Eastery. So, since they were all 50% off, I couldn’t resit.
Our morning didn’t start off so well. Abby was up most of the night. The storm that blew through at 1a, woke her up. Then at 3:30, she was still awake and then began getting sick. According to Meredith, she didn’t go back to sleep until around 5:30a. I had not been to bed yet. I was waiting on my laundry to get done. So I had to get a little sleep. So I went to bed around 4a and Aiden woke us up around 8:30a.
This year, we had breakfast at my mom & dads, followed by a little Easter Egg hunt. We were suppose to be there between 9 & 10. We arrived a little after 10:30, after having dealt with Abby’s sickness.
As always, they scored lots of candy. Yikes.
Aiden did not like his polo at all! As you can see from the picture below. Abby spit up on her dress, so I had to wait for it to dry.
Then, we redressed them for a quick picture (at least an attempt at a picture)
Then, we headed south to Columbia for Easter with the Flautt Family.
That consisted of lots of play time with all their cousins (6)
After lunch, Uncle John (now referred to as Papa John), took us all down to the creek for some more fun!!
Then, as if that wasn’t enough fun, we did some off roadin' with daddy!!
Needless to say…they were exhausted! And so am I.
So I hope you and your family had a wonderful & blessed Easter!
