Our 1st snow fall of 2011! We got 5" in Murfreesboro. It was absolutely beautiful. I woke around 2:30a and there was probably 4" on the ground already. It was breath taking. The peacefulness of it. The glow from the street light, the snow just coming down, like it was poring down "snow". Just beautiful.
My children could not wait to get out in it. All through breakfast Aiden kept saying "can we go play in the snow, now?" I kept saying, "in a few minutes."
I finally got us all dressed in our layers and out we went! What a great day we had!! We spent some time at home before we decided to load everybody in the truck and head to my in-laws; where we spent the afternoon! We had so much fun!!
Snowmen were built and "sledding" commenced. Although, we don't do "sledding" like normal people...oh no! We tub behind the tractor!! That's right, no plane Jane sleds for us.
To quote my baby sister-in-law...
"-Laundry baskets?! So last year.
-Trash can lids? Amateur.
-Cookie sheets?! Painful.
-Boogie board pulled by the truck? Dangerous while by a pond...
-A TUBE BEING PULLING BY THE TRACTOR FLYING AROUND THE YARD?!?! BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
