As our yearly vacation to Michigan inches closer and closer (2 1/2 weeks), I find myself getting very busy. I bought everybody new beach towels and I’m planning on monogramming/appliqueing them for our trip. On top of that, I bought my two children new backpacks that I will be monogramming as well. I have two brand new mp3 players I bought for the little ones as well, that I have to get loaded with their “toddler” tunes. I’ve decided this year, since they are almost 5 and almost 3, and we don’t have to carry bottles, cups, bowls, food, pack n plays, etc…that we are getting one carry on piece of luggage and one backpack each. That way everyone is responsible for his/her own things. So I’ve found new suitcases, one for the children. One is blue and one is pink. Then, I have to want to make luggage tags for those as well as mine and my husbands. These are just printable, but they’ll need laminating and then attached, somehow. This doesn’t seem like a lot to do with two and a half weeks before vacation, but amidst all this I’m also preparing for a consignment sale this week. Then, I have the two little ones running around three of the five days a week. So I only get “nap-time” to get anything done, when they are home. And when they aren’t home, I’m busy working in the office for my husband, who owns a construction company. So making time for my stuff is almost impossible. When I do have time in MY office, it’s working on customer orders, not my own. And I’m sure the both will need new appliqued shirts to wear on vacation as well. But I’m determined to have this all done and have a great vacation! This will most likely be out last trip to Michigan, as that my little boy will start school next year. :/ But that’s a whole other post.
